Winter Children's Retreat 2009 will be a weekend full of excitement and is designed for the 3rd Thru 6th Graders.
Students will walk away with a greater desire to serve the Lord and will be challenged to BOLDLY PROCLAIM God's word.
This will be a time of fun, high energy worship and kid-friendly Bible study. Our speaker this year will be Mr. Mikey with worship
from Sean Mahoney.
This weekend begins with Friday night dinner and goes through Sunday lunch.
Activities will include: games, crafts, music, SNOW
TUBING*, paintball**, and new this year: JP
RACERS***!
Every camper will also receive a FREE SHIRT.
Cost: 165/person
Early Registration: $145 before Jan. 7th

Mike Stephens Bio Info:

Mike Stephens, a.k.a. "Mr. Mikey", grew up in Merced California where he attended Christian Life Center.
He began working in the children's ministry in October 2001, and felt God calling him to children's ministry a year later. Setting out to fulfill his calling
and passion in life, Mike attended William Jessup University in Rocklin California, completing his degree in Bible and Theology
with a minor in business management. Now, with six years of experience and a degree under his belt, Mike Stephens is the Children's Pastor of
Maranatha Assembly of God in Decatur Illinois. Mike strives to use his God-given passion to spread God's Word.
Mike desires to give children the opportunity to become a part of a ministry that they feel comfortable and excited to be a part of in a fun and kid-friendly
environment.
